Power of Connection
I was drinking coffee at Starbucks a few days ago and was catching up with an old friend. We laughed, we cried, and we had coffee. My friend has been through so much in the last year or so she is one of the strongest women I know. The rock in her family. She was opening up about having a hard time dealing with her life. We both agreed that the most therapeutic thing we have done over the past few years. Getting together and laughing over a cup of Salted Caramel Latte. We both been through some tough times and lots of loss but we never forgot eachother. I never thought about this time we live in. People use Social Media to stay in touch. I do with a lot of my friends and family. Getting out of the house and going to coffee shop then actually going to a book store. I am a Kindle girl. I found my old world again.
