Choose your path

My Familiar Sabrina

Hello my Pretties, it is your Spooky Witch of the Brew. As a baby witch it was so scary as to where you should look for answers to questions. What web pages was good and what was not? It is a little over whelming when you first start. It was for me. Some people was raised this way, I was not. I found my path or it found me, ether way. I had to teach myself. I looked up so many places it made me almost say nope this is not for me. There was too much information and  paths to choose that I don’t know what is for me. Then I came a across this statement "The beauty of the craft is, you choose your path. What works for you may not for others."

So how do you know you are on the right path? That’s the top questions and even some days I have to ask it. What resonates with you? What feels right and rases your vibrations? What do you feel is correct? It truly is a feeling. Everything puts off energy and when energies match they flow. When you come across something that does not match yours then you will feel in  lower vibrations (meaning it does not make you feel correct). The biggest thing about this is knowing and being entuned with yourself.  Which will be a practices that I explain in another post. Right now lets just go with feelings it is easier that way to explain.  What makes you feel your best and higher self? What practice or ritual serves you the best. Is what you need to ask when find a ritual or practice that you are interested in.  Y

I am hear to tell you there is so many books, blogs, pages, and everything that you can for sure get lost. I started with systems of beliefs. What ever called to me or interested for me. I read books my favorite was Inner Witch that got me hooked and wanting to make my world a little more magical. I will let you know Pinterest has so much information and blogs to find. I also follow Tamed Wild podcast Magick and Alchemy find on Spotify. They also have monthly boxes of a ritual and information they are amazing. (I do not speak or work for them just a fan)  Tamed Wild has blogs on lore and folktales. Books on the sabbaths as well as Gods and Goddesses. I really recommend going and checking them out. Tails on all the different types of witches. Go to tamedwild.com you will not be disappointed. (Like I said not a worker or even commission just a really big fan check out my TikTok its on there)

I will also warn that please do your home work before trying spells. There is some darker areas that will give you bad karma if trying and can cause harm. This is something to study. This is not the movies or TV shows. There are  herbs out there that cant be digested and some can harm you. I always research before any spell done. I meditate on this before hand make sure it aligns with my higher self and beliefs. Everyone path is different and do not believe in pushing mine on any but want everyone to be safe in there practice. Always…. Always check your candles and watch them when burning. I can not stress this enough …. Personal experience.   All your information you gather up can go in your own personal Book of Shadows.

Book of shadows is book you collect of spells you come across or make your own. Jot them down to use again later. I also leave room to write down my results. What ever works for you. You can pass it down to your children and share experiences. Make it your own, if you love being in the kitchen. Make your own cook book. If you love adventures and sharing nature, make it a scrap book with rituals you did outside. It is your own way of jotting down information and magical experiences. I choose the journaling option. Lists of herbs and candles to what happened during a spell.  I believe making it your own creation just like your own practices and follow what works for you. Book of Shadows is a witches greatest tool and holds your power because it is a record of your power. It holds the knowledge you gain and can learn from and you look back change later. See how you grow in your practice why it is called a practice.
