Healing Heroes to witch hunted

So my page is typically made for all things witchy and mystical. I also am a nurse and feel that I need to speak out on what is go on in the world of medical. My friend went to a rally yesterday in regards to the Mandate on nurses to take this COVID shot. I did not get to go and help support her and my friends there one of them did an amazing job explaining what we all feel about this mandate. No one should tell you what to put in your body.  

The president stated on CNN that he is pushing for Nursing Homes to mandate the shot or they will pull federal funding such as Medicare and Medicaid. Now if you do not know what those are that is how the nursing homes get paid to have supplies to take care of the residents.  I work in a nursing home and love my residents would never want anything to be taken from them.  They should not be the ones threatened and  bullied for us to take a shot. He threatened my residents the people I have care for and protected through this pandemic. My best friend should not be forced to take a shot that she does not want to take. It is her body and her choice. I have taken the shot it was my choice after research and meditating on this I chose to take it. On that note read that again "I" chose to take it! I was not mandated and forced upon me and threatened to take away care for my residents.  

I do feel like this is an appropriate place to speak out because the ones who do not want to take the shot, is like a witch hunt for them. They have been called selfish, people think they do not care, and worse. There jobs, lively hoods and careers are on the line. For the very thing they was born to do. These are the healers of the world. They have been called to do this and care for, speak for, and support your family when you could not. A year ago they was called heroes and now the expendables. Just because they are making a health choice of there own. They are still heroes and healers whether or not they take the shot. It is not just the nurses that are being fired. It is the CNA, Housekeepers, and transporters. I will say it as loud as I can "THE BACKBONE OF THE BUILDING!"  we can not do with out is getting let go for not taking the shot. Who will be there to change your loved one? No one. Who will clean the floor after your loved one had an accident? No one. Who will get your loved one to his surgery? no one. Because they are all fired and healthcare is short staffed as it is. It might be 30-45 min before someone can get there. That is what we are looking at. 

I stand for your body your choice. I stand for your beliefs should be respected as mine should. I believe no one should have to choose between there employees staying or funding for there business to care for the people they are trusted to look over. I stand with people holding there signs and speaking out against this mandate. I love my job and what I do, will protect them to the end. I can not watch my co workers be bullied in to taking something they do not believe in. The witch hunt should end and let the heroes be heroes.
