My son asked me one day “your a good witch right mommy?” I told well of course, I harm none and only ask for the greater good to happen. He asked “what does it mean to be a witch?” I smiled at him and explained that Hollywood and TV have pretty much ruined witches. We are not green, evil, and we most certainly don’t eat children. We ask the moon for guidance and look to the stars for signs. We carry stones in our pockets and bags for there energy. I try not to speak on politics or issues that could seem very controversial.  With every thing in the world going on. I felt I needed to speak what I believe to be truth. Not trying to offend anyone but to inspire some truth in this world. I can not stand by and stay quite when people are hurting one another. What was done to that poor man was terrible and unjust.  With the riots and looting. It appears our beautiful country is falling apart. When we should be coming together as a united states. When I first seen the video it broke my heart. I could not believe that someone could do that to another human being. I was outraged and heart broken that in 2020 there is still racism and hate in peoples hearts to other people. I am one that believes all lives and beliefs matter. We are all people and one race. I have debated on telling this story for a while. But, it is in my heart to tell. I feel someone needs to hear it. Not to feel sorry for me or pity. I want this story to inspire. To raise awareness on mental health what you can accomplish. That even a depressed, anxious, self destructing person can become  a person that cares for others. Can be someone else hero. That person was me. I have dyslexia, (in case no one noticed in my writing). I have anxiety and over coming depression. Guess what I am also a nurse. So I am sitting in my jammies drinking hot coco scrolling through facebook of course. I'm seeing all these post of how the Corona virus has affected many people in different ways. Then see how divided we have become because we are ether considered essential or not. We are the heroes or the small business owners. That disturbed me. We are all essential in this world. OK! something struck me very weird the other day.  A friend asked me if Daniel and me ever fight.  My answer was Daniel and me, we don't fight. Apparently we are weird for this. By the look on her face. Now I have always thought us being an odd couple. More like "Adams family" odd than, relationship in general odd. So has fighting with one another really became the norm? Namaste! Most likely my favorite word to say. Other than Coffee. Namaste I bow to the divine in you. I literally means I bow to you. I mostly used in yoga class or meditation. Yoga is something I am passionate about I try do at least three times a day. Having a space to do yoga can be tricky at times. Some day I will have a yoga area but until then living room or out door patio will do. The things i would put in my yoga space and what I believe is a must i will share. Yoga space has a few needs to really get the full experience. Yoga is not just an exercise it is a practice. Yoga is to some, a life style. As for space a yoga room or corner is something every yogi should strive for. I will help with a few needs. Lets start with basic equipment to gather needed to participate in yoga. I have to say as a child if I could go back. I would not pray to be an adult successful career woman. I made it and did it. Not with out his guidance and strength. I would pray for wisdom. Not just any wisdom. Spiritual wisdom. Deep roots inside. So I can later plant beautiful fruit. I didn't know what a power it truly is. Who needs wisdom when I can be boss lady. Didn't know how much those correlate together.  Prov 3:13 "Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding" Who knew how powerful and important those words are?
